Force a password modification

  • Updated

To ensure compliance with the GDRP, admins will now be able to require a password change from their users.

The admins will be able to force the users to change their passwords in two situations:

1. Force password modification after a user import by Excel file

When the admins create a user through user import, they can force the user to change the password on the 1st connection to the platform.

A new column was added to the user import file: “ Force user to change password at the next connection”. If the admin selects Yes, the user will be asked to create a new password.

2. Force password modification after change by an administrator

When an admin modifies a user's password he or she can ask the user to change the password the next time he or she accesses the platform.

For the user to do this action, the admin needs to select the option “Force user to change password at the next connection” available on the pop-up: Change password.
