Creating objectives

  • Updated
How to create an objective ? What are the settings available ?

It is possible to assign Objectives to Learners.

First the objectives have to be created, which can only be done by Administrators / Partner administrators.

⚠️ The Objectives created by Internal Administrators are transversal to all Platforms, in the sense that they can be assigned to Users of different Platforms by Internal Administrators. On the other hand, a Partner Administrator can only have access to the Objectives created by an Administrator of his own Partner Platform and can only register Users of his own Partner Platform.

To access the objectives, click on the Side Menu > Objectives > Create

Hidden goal

It will be necessary to specify for each Objective created whether it is a hidden Objective or not. If it is not hidden, it means that Learners registered for this Objective will not know and will not see the Objective in question displayed on their Dashboard.

Success Points

The "Success point" field only appears if the "Levels" functionality has been activated in the Settings.

This field allows you to assign success points to each objective in order to earn them for your learners and thus make them progress in level.

For more information see Activate objectives for learners.

Action

It is necessary to specify the action that the Learner must succeed in doing in order to achieve his Objective. The different choices are available in the drop-down list below.

The possible types of Objectives are:

  • Complete a course or several courses, the list of which will be specified, and this within a period of time to be defined (Start date and End date to be entered (to add to the training objective, all you have to do is click on the small + in front of 'LIST OF PERIMETERS', which allows you to enter additional training to be completed)
  • Complete one or more objectives, the list of which will be specified, and this within a period of time to be defined (Start date and End date to be entered) (in the same way, just click on the little + in front of 'LIST PERIMETERS ', to enter an additional objective to be completed)
  • Spend time (pedagogical duration) on one or more training courses / training categories / training path, and this within a period of time to be defined (Start date and End date to be entered - optional)

  • Spend time (actual duration) on one or more training courses / training categories / training path, and this within a period of time to be defined (Start date and End date to be entered - optional)

⚠️ Once the actions have been defined when creating the goal, you will not be able to come and modify them later.
