Create and Manage Certificates

Prerequisites:
Access to an administrator account on the Rise Up platform.
Necessary permissions to manage certificates.

Access the Certificate Overview

Navigate in the side menu and select the 'Certificate' tab, then click on 'View' to open the certificate creation window.

Create Certificates

Go to your left menu , access the certificates menu by clicking on 'Create', and you will be directed directly to the window to create your certificate.

Customize Certificates

Reminder

The type, scope, duration of the certificate, its expiration, and reminders before expiration are imperative information to think about beforehand before considering the large-scale deployment of your certifying training.
Hence the importance of preparing your objectives well and what you expect from certificates by considering all the possibilities offered by your platform before embarking on mass certifications. Indeed, each objective can lead to different settings whether for short, medium, or long-term policies.

Name: Enter the name of the certificate.
Type: Select if the certificate is for a course or a learning pathway.
Scope: Specify if the certificate is for internal use or for a partner.
Duration/Expiration Date: Set the duration or specify an expiration date.
Reminder before expiration: Set a reminder for the expiration of the certificate.
Description: Provide a description of the certificate.
Legal representative information: Fill in details like name and signature.
Logo: Add a logo that will appear on the certificate.
Template selection: Choose a template or customize your own, modify the information displayed on the certificate.
Use the 'Add a variable' and 'Insert text' options to include personalized information.

Choose a logo to dynamically represent your certificate in predefined choices or by customizing your own avatars according to your graphic charter.

Access Rise Up certificate templates whether in portrait/landscape format, or define your own templates by clicking on 'Customize'.

Manage Certificates

To manage existing certificates, use the 'Manage Certificates' section where you can edit, view, and manage issued certificates using the 4 action buttons.

Regenerate Certificates 

Quick Guide Objective: Update and reissue certificates with new dates while archiving the original.

Steps to Follow

  1. Access Go to the certificate template management section in the side menu
  2. Find the certificate Use search/filter the certificate if needed
  3. Click on 'Edit Certificate Date', enter the new start date and confirm.
  4. Automatic Process The system sets the end date according to the certificate template and archives the original.

Troubleshooting

  • No 'Edit Certificate Date' button. Check permissions or contact the system administrator.
  • Date entry error Ensure that the date format (YYYY-MM-DD) and range are correct.
  • Note The original certificates are archived, they are not replaced. Regeneration is currently only individual.

  • Problem: Unable to save the certificate.
    Solution: Check for missing required fields and ensure all information is entered correctly. Refresh the page and try again.
    Problem: Certificate customization issues.
    Solution: Ensure all customized fields and variables are correctly formatted. Refer to the template guidelines if available.
    Problem: No 'Edit Certificate Date' button.
    Solution: Check permissions or contact the system administrator.
    Date entry error: Ensure the correct date format (YYYY-MM-DD) and range.

  • Can I attach a certificate to multiple courses?
    - Yes, you can attach a certificate to multiple courses by specifying each course during the creation process.
    How to regenerate a certificate?
    - Access the 'Manage Certificates' section, select the certificate, and use the ''.
