Application Marketplace: Type of Connectors
Application Marketplace showcases the most common integrations between Rise Up and your ecosystem. The complexity of implementing a connector can vary depending on the third-party application or customer. To make this clear, we have created a label that helps admins easily understand the complexity level."
Plug and play connectors
Plug and Play connectors allow admin to create a standard integration that can cover most of their use cases with no help needed from Rise Up. In order to do so, Admin should follow a simple procedure that is divided into 2 steps :
- API Credentials: In this step, the admin fills in all the information that will help Rise Up authenticate into the external API
- Integration Customization
- Static API Field Mapping: These are field mappings set by our script team that are static for all clients on the selected connector.
- Custom Mapping: This allows users to customize their mapping and use data that matches their Rise Up custom fields from a predefined list of variables. Based on this data, admins can create custom groups containing imported users. They can even specify the direct manager of each group.
Today, only the Teams connector is plug and play, this will be improved later to give you more customizable options.
Prebuilt Connectors
Prebuilt connectors allow admin to quickly see the integration in which Rise up are familiar with. The application market presents the essential features and prerequisites for each connection. If customers are interested in it (if they have it inside their current ecosystem) they can ask Professional Services a custom quote to create theirs psteam@riseup.ai
