Homepage Builder: Partner Customization

  • Updated

Prerequisites: Internal Administrator role OR Partner Administrator role with the dedicated permission.
To enable partner customisation, an Internal Administrator must tick the option “Allow the partner administrator to customise their users’ homepage” in the partner profile.

Key benefits:

  1. Controlled multi-platform customisation — Allows partners to tailor their local experience while respecting internal governance rules.
  2. Enhanced admin experience — New fully customisable admin homepage, “Platform management”, visible to all administrators.
  3. Improved visual and technical consistency — Design update, independent management of banners/carousels.

Overview of the update

The Homepage Builder launched in 2025 made it possible to customise the homepage for internal roles. This new version extends the feature to partners, offering controlled autonomy to Partner Administrators while ensuring overall consistency across enterprise interfaces. The update also introduces a new administrator homepage — Platform management — as well as a redesign of the settings and the overall look and feel.

  • Access the Homepage Builder > Settings > Homepage. : Default and custom dashboards are now displayed in a simplified structure.

Key updates

This update includes:
• extending customisation to Partner Administrators (dedicated permission);
• a new administrator homepage: Platform management;
• independent banner and carousel management for each dashboard;
• UX improvements and Design System updates;
• a clear synchronisation flow between internal ⇄ partner.

Steps to customise a homepage

Before you start

  • Have an Internal Administrator or Partner Administrator role (with the permission enabled).
  • Use the homepage selector in the top-right corner to switch between views.
  1. Manage Partner permissions
    Partner Administrators only have access if the permission is enabled.
  2. Edit the banner and carousel
    The configuration is now local to each dashboard. Editing the default dashboard no longer impacts custom dashboards.
  3. Save
    A Partner Administrator can switch back to internal synchronisation at any time via “Synchronise with internal”.

Helpful notes:
If customisation does not appear, check that the permission has been enabled in the partner profile (Internal Administrator side).

Comparison — Internal governance vs partner autonomy

This comparison helps you understand what depends on internal configuration, what partners can manage independently, and how synchronisation works after the update.

Comparison: Internal vs Partner

Feature Internal Administrator Partner Administrator
Dashboard customisation Yes Yes (if permission enabled)
Banners & carousels Configurable per dashboard Configurable per dashboard
Synchronisation Can remove partner control Button “Synchronise with internal”
  • Issue: Editing the default dashboard banner does not update my other dashboards.
    Solution: Since the update, each dashboard manages its own banner/carousel. Update them on each relevant dashboard.

    Issue: A Partner Administrator cannot see the pencil icon.
    Solution: Check that the permission “Allow the partner administrator to customise…” is enabled in the partner profile.

    Issue: Partner customisations have disappeared.
    Solution: The Internal Administrator has likely removed partner control, which automatically re-enables internal synchronisation.
  • Is the “Platform management” page visible to learners?
    - No, it is only visible to Internal and Partner Administrators.
    Can partners switch back to the internal template?
    - Yes, via “Synchronise with internal”.
    Will my existing dashboards lose their banner/carousel?
    - No, a snapshot is taken during deployment to keep the existing setup.
