Because your learners' training time is precious, we give you the option of sending training reminders to maximise completion rates. Automatic reminders encourage your learners to finish courses they've started or to start training that's essential for their job. Simply define the frequency and number of reminders to be sent.
Courses reminder is simply a way to remind learners if:
- They haven’t started their training yet
- They haven’t completed their training yet
How are they set up?
- Internal administrators or designers can enable them for any perimeter where the course is available
- Perimeter administrators or designers can enable them for the perimeter they manage
They are managed either from the courses list using the side menu, or from the training board
What settings are currently available?
- Internal administrators can choose which perimeters to enable reminders on
- Perimeter administrators can enable or disable reminders for their own perimeter
- Delay between each reminder, in days
- Max number of reminders that will be sent
Reminder will start being sent from the moment the learner is enrolled to a training until the max number of reminders is reached or the moment he has completed his training.
FAQ
- Reminders are sent by email to the learner Instead of sending several emails to the learner, all reminders for a given day are grouped inside a single email
- The frequency is taken into account, meaning that if you set the frequency to every 2 days, the first reminder will be sent the day after tomorrow. If set daily, the first reminder will be sent the day after
- Reminders will continue to be sent until the max number of reminders have been sent or the course has been completed by the learner
- For now, only the Data team will be able to access data from emails
- Reminders are only sent when the learner has access to the training, meaning not before the period or after the period, but only within the period if a period is set
- We made sure reminders are only sent when it’s up to the learner to continue his/her training. No reminder will be sent when the next step is a classroom session.
If learners are already attending a classroom session on the same time slot, a warning will appear. The manager will then be able to access the user’s calendar and act accordingly
