Configuration best practices

  • Banner: use a sharp visual, minimal text, and sufficient contrast for accessibility (1920x300px max).
  • Categories: short, explicit names; avoid over‑segmentation (3 to 8 main categories depending on volume).
  • Search / filters: check the relevance of your filters (language, level, content type) to limit noise.
  • Mega menu: enable it if your learners browse by theme; otherwise hide it for a more direct journey.
  • Issue: The catalogue mega menu does not appear.
Solution: It may be disabled on the administrator side. Use the categories displayed in the centre of the page or request that the mega menu be enabled in the Catalogue settings.
Issue: I can’t find the Resource Centre.
Solution: It has been moved to My learning. Access it from your learner area.
Issue: My categories do not appear or are incomplete.
Solution: Check that they are created and published, and that your profile has the access rights. Refresh the page if one was just created.
Issue: The banner does not display correctly (or appears blurry).
Solution: Upload a high‑resolution panoramic image with a reasonable file size, then save. Add alternative text (accessibility).
Issue: Search does not return relevant results.
Solution: Check the active filters in the left column, try a different keyword, and use Reset to start from a clear view.
