Access the Goals Module
Access the 'Goals and Gamification' section from your side menu then click on 'view'.
Ensure that the goals and rewards options are enabled in the administration menu.
Create a New Goal
Click the ‘Create a Goal’ button located in the top right corner of the menu, and write a clear and concise title for the goal.

Select your visibility options 'hidden goal' or integrated into gamification

Navigating Settings
Access your 'Settings' located in your navigation bar. Select 'Goals and Gamification' under the 'Features' category. Ensure that the options 'Enable Goals' and 'Enable Gamification Related to Levels and Points' are checked.
This will allow you to integrate gamification into the goals you create.
Creating a New Goal
Click 'Create a Goal' to start configuring a new goal and fill in the required fields:
Title: Provide an evocative and targeted name for the goal.
Description: Explain what the goal is about and its importance.
Configure Details
Start and End Dates: Indicate the period during which the goal should be achieved.
Visibility: Decide if the goal should be visible to users or if it remains 'hidden' until its publication.
Gamification Options
Include in Gamification:
Check 'This goal is part of gamification' to include the goal in the gamification system.
Experience Points: Define the number of experience points that the user will earn by achieving this goal, which can further motivate learners.
Completion Conditions
Under 'Completion Conditions', choose the rule that applies for completing the goal.
The options include:
Completing specific trainings.
Spending a certain educational or real time.
Select the Training
In the dropdown menu, select the training associated with the goal. This helps to link the goal to the relevant skills that users need to acquire.
By following these steps, administrators can effectively set up goals, incorporating elements of skill and gamification to enrich the learning experience of users. This approach encourages active participation and strengthens motivation through a well-structured reward system.
Manage Existing Goals
Access the goals list to view or modify existing goals, use search and filter options to find specific goals. Click on the pencil icon next to a goal to make changes, adjust reward points if necessary, but note that completion conditions cannot be modified as it would affect all associated courses. Therefore, take the time to structure your gamification system in advance before creating it live.
Link Goals to Rewards
Assign success points based on the importance of each achieved step. Link goal achievement to specific rewards, such as certificates, badges, additional learning resources, or real incentives if possible. Remember to enter the same experience points between your goal and your rewards, otherwise, they will not trigger if the goal is achieved.
Enroll Learners in Goals
Click the management button then on 'enroll users to the goal' to enroll learners in predefined goals.

Can I assign goals to specific users or groups?
- Yes, goals can be assigned to specific users or groups by selecting the appropriate option under the 'User' or 'Group' field when creating or editing a goal.
How can I track the progress of a goal?
