How to manage my users?

  • Updated

You can manage your users through the Administrator Role.

This article covers the following topics:

> Create users from the Administrator role

To create users, you have two options :

  • You can manually create a new user using the "Add User" button.
  • Alternatively, you can import one or more users by clicking on "Import Users" using a Domoscio import template.

> Information needed to create a user

There are two options here depending on whether or not the settings are active in the platform:

  • last name, first name, email, role (the UID will be assigned automatically by Domoscio)
  • last name, first name, UID (UID of the LMS) : which can only be Learner

You can also associate a user with the Learner role directly to an entity.

  • Using the 'This learner belongs to' button.

  • By directly importing learners from an Excel file (see the Domoscio template below) and specifying their entities using the 'Import Users' button.

> The different roles you can assign to your users

The different roles are as follows :

  • Administrator: Manages the platform and its configuration.
  • Designer: Creates the themes identified during the engineering phase of the system, along with the associated content. A theme is a training unit that gathers a set of skills related to a profession.
  • Training Manager: Creates training experiences. It is also here that learners and supervisors can be registered, and/or the SCORM of the experience can be downloaded.
  • Supervisor: Monitors the progress of learners for the training experiences for which they are responsible. It is possible to filter statistics by experience, themes, or entities.
  • Learner: Participates in training experiences. It is possible to assign them to an entity.

> Assigning one or more roles to a user

A user can indeed be registered for all roles simultaneously.

> Notifying the user of their registration on the platform

Once the user is registered on Domoscio, they receive a registration completion email at the address provided by you. They can then set a unique password that will allow them to log in to the platform.

> Management possibilities for your users

In the "users" tab, you have access to the list of registered users. You can reset all the data of a learner with the help of the reverse arrow, edit their information, and modify the roles assigned.

> Resetting or deleting a learner's account

When you reset a learner's account, their learning data is erased.

When you delete a learner's account, they are unsubscribed from the Domoscio platform, and their data is also removed from the platform.
