Course Genius is a powerful tool designed to simplify the process of creating a training.
It allows educators, trainers, and organizations to quickly and efficiently develop high-quality learning materials. By automating the initial stages of training development, Course Genius lets users focus more on content quality and instructional design rather than on administrative tasks.

Activate Course Genius

To activate Course Genius, simply go to your settings located in the navigation bar at the top right , then click on the menu 'AI Feature' and check 'Activate Course Genius'.

Access the course generation section in your side menu , go to 'Trainings' then select 'Generate a training draft'.

Import and Integrate Content

On the 'Content' page, the first step in the three-step creation process, you can structure your courses by uploading various files such as PDFs, text documents, videos, and presentations. You also have the option to integrate URLs to retrieve online content, except YouTube links.

Content Page (1st Tab)

File Upload: Users can upload different file formats, including PDFs, text documents, .mp4, .webm, and .ppt. This allows the tool to analyze and extract relevant information to include in the training.
URL Integration: Users can provide URLs for the tool to retrieve content from specific web resources, ensuring seamless integration of online material into the course (excluding YouTube links).
Learning Objective: Direct text entry allows users to specify learning objectives, key concepts, or any particular details the training should emphasize.

Advanced Customization in Course Genius

Course Genius offers features for extensive customization when creating trainings that allow for better adaptation of content to the specific needs of users. These enhancements enable instructional designers and educational engineers to create more targeted and effective trainings, tailored to the specific needs of their audience.

Configuration Page (2nd Tab)

Defining the Audience: Allows specifying the target audience to adapt the content accordingly.

Defining the Tone: Choose the appropriate tone for your training, whether pedagogical, technical, or other.

Selecting the Course Type: Users can choose between different course types, such as professional training or evaluation-focused courses. This selection allows adapting the course structure to specific learning objectives.
Content Settings: Users can specify the extent to which the generated content should conform to the uploaded material. Options range from 'Precise' (strict adherence) to 'Imaginative' (greater flexibility in content generation).
Additional Instructions: This optional field allows users to provide specific guidelines or notes to further customize the course generation process.

Select and Validate Topics 

The structure page simplifies the creation of personalized learning paths. You can add and rearrange modules, adjust titles for clarity, and select relevant content. The quiz adjustment and key topic extraction features ensure tailored and comprehensive teaching, aligned with your educational objectives.

• Adding Modules: Possibility to add new modules to be generated, offering flexibility in course structuring.

• Editing Module Title: Change the title to correct any confusion and improve clarity.

• Selecting/Deselecting Modules: Choose which modules to include or exclude from generation for a tailored content.
  Setting the Number of Questions per Quiz:

• Adjust the number of questions for each quiz according to educational needs.

Quiz Differentiation: 2 types of quizzes can be generated to evaluate learners in various ways.

Changing Module Order: Rearrange modules to optimally structure the learning path.

Generate and Save Your Course

Automated Draft Creation: Once the content is uploaded and configurations are defined, Course Genius generates a draft version of the course. This project includes structured modules, learning material suggestions, and potential evaluations.
Review and Edit: Users can review the generated project, make necessary changes, and finalize it before publishing the course. The project is visible only to the user and administrators until it is finalized.

• Problem: I cannot access Course Genius.
  Solution: Check if your subscription includes this feature and contact your sales representative if necessary. Ensure that your user role has the necessary permissions.

  Problem: My video content does not work.
  Solution: Ensure the video format is compatible (e.g., .mp4, .webm) and the file is not corrupted. If the issue persists, try re-uploading the file or converting it to a supported format.

  Problem: Course content is missing after saving.
  Solution: Verify that the content was saved correctly. Check for any unsaved changes before exiting and ensure you have a stable internet connection to prevent data loss.

• Can I use Course Genius on Azure?
  - No, Course Genius is not available for customers using Azure. Consider using a supported platform or consult with your IT department for alternatives.

  How can I further customize my course?
  - Use the configuration options to add specific instructions, adjust the learning objectives, and tailor the course content to meet your educational goals.

  Is there a limit to the number of courses I can create?
  - The number of courses may depend on your subscription plan. Check your plan details or contact support for more information.
