Smart Modules: Creating Customised Content

To use the smart modules feature, access your training menu and click on 'view', then choose the one you're interested in. Next, click on the pencil icon . In edit mode, you can create a smart module by adding an online module and opening the menu titled 'Advanced Generation Settings'.



This section allows course designers to add context, similar to the Course Genius tool, but at the module level, to guide content creation by navigating through the following 3 tabs: 

• Content 
• Configuration 
• Structure

Designers have the option to define the target audience, the tone, and add additional instructions, thus influencing the nature of the content and its reliance on the provided materials or broader data.

The module structure can also be adapted, allowing the integration of textual applications, training quizzes, and assessments. This level of customisation ensures that the modules are informative, engaging, and comprehensive.

Smart Quizzes: Elevating Assessment Design

The second feature, smart quizzes, revolutionises the integration of quizzes into training. Now, when a course designer creates a module, they can easily add a quiz by clicking on 'add a step' and selecting 'generate a quiz'. This tool leverages the module content as well as the entire training to create various types of questions, including multiple-choice questions and two-part questions.

The process is both simple and intuitive. After clicking on the 'generate' button, a progress indicator shows that the quiz is being created, providing a smooth user experience. This feature not only saves time but also ensures that the assessments are well-aligned with the training content, enriching the learning experience for students.
